How to Write an "A" Exam

7
Analyze and Compare the Answers ("A" - "D") - The following answers and their critiques reveal a schema of common blunders that students commit over and over and that you can avoid on your exams.

The following .pdf documents compare the "A" - "D" answers for each of the three questions posed in the call of the question, beginning with the mirror image issue and proceeding to the two UCC 2-207 issues.

Issues: Mirror Image; UCC 2-207 (1); UCC 2-207(2)

Note: The "A" answer is one to which most professors would very likely give a grade of "A." The grades assigned to the non-A answers indicate our opinion of their relative merit; however, given the great variation in grading practices, professors will almost certainly not universally agree on what grades they would give the answers. What is important is not the grade, but why the answers fall progressively short of the "A" answer.
